Originally from Costa Rica, Gerly’s story is one of resilience and determination. She overcame early life challenges, working multiple jobs in finance and administration while pursuing her education. Her dedication led to a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance, along with academic recognition. At 25, she made the bold move to the United States—embracing a new culture and language while continuing to pursue her ambitions with drive and grace.

With 21 years of real estate experience and over 30 years in business, Gerly has built a career grounded in excellence and authenticity. She previously served as the Broker of Record for a Keller Williams office for four years, where she helped lead and grow one of the industry’s most recognized real estate brands. Her background as a former owner and operator of seven diverse businesses has shaped her into a savvy, strategic leader—offering invaluable insight into market trends, business operations, and client service.

While Gerly no longer manages those businesses, the lessons and perspective gained from each continue to guide her as she focuses her energy on expanding GVO Realty, a vision she created over two decades ago while working in real estate in Florida. Today, GVO Realty embodies her belief that real estate is not just about transactions—it’s about creating meaningful, lasting connections.

Licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Costa Rica, Gerly serves a diverse network of buyers, sellers, and investors both locally and globally. Known for her strong communication skills, integrity, and work ethic, she’s highly respected by clients and peers alike.
